Home to York Minster, the largest Gothic cathedral in Northern Europe, stands at the city's centre. Famous tourist attractions include cliffords tower, and the shambles, and narrow shopping street. York's centre is enclosed by medieval walls. The entire loop (much of which can be walked along) is about 3 miles long
